Cookie policy

The short version

room rent sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device that identifies you. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking tags on this site, so there is no cookie banner and nothing to switch off. We checked the site code before writing this.

What this site does not use

• No analytics (no Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar or similar).
• No advertising or retargeting pixels (no Google Ads, Meta, TikTok or Bing).
• No third-party fonts loaded from Google at visit time. Fonts are served from this site.
• No cookies or local storage for logins, because there are no accounts.

Things that still involve other companies

Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs of requests, including IP address, for security and reliability. These are not cookies. See the privacy notice.

A few pages show a background photo loaded from images.unsplash.com, which means your browser contacts Unsplash to fetch it.

If you buy an optional product, you leave this site and pay on a Stripe page (buy.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies there, including security and fraud prevention cookies. Those are covered by Stripe’s cookie policy.
